Effective October 1, 2009 the Beaumont Skating Club along with our Coaches have implemented a new list of expectations for all of our skaters.
CanSkate and Learn to Skate:
- Go out and have FUN!
- CSA Approved Helmets must always be worn while on the ice
- Wear clothing that you can move easily in and will be warm enough
- HAVE FUN!
Junior & Senior StarSkaters:
- Skaters must come on time for all of their sessions.
- Skaters must remain on the ice for the entire duration of their session; if they need to get off they should let their coach know before they leave.
- If a skater will not be attending one of their sessions or has to leave early, they should make sure to notify their coach.
- No talking and playing around with other skaters during sessions.
- Proper skate wear is required; this means skating tights and dresses or athletic pants or shorts, no jeans, no baggy clothing.
- Snacks brought to the rink should be healthy choices.
- Off-ice is highly recommended for all skaters.
Any questions, please do not hesitate to speak with our Coaches or anyone on the Beaumont Skating Club Executive.
