 CanadianTire Jump Start Program

http://www.canadiantire.ca/jumpstart/

The Beaumont Skating Club is proud to be a part of the Canadian Tire Jump Start Program.

Jumpstart can assist a child or youth between the ages of 4 - 18 twice per year up to an amount of $300.

Jumpstart is available to all families within Leduc County boundaries. The funding can assist any regular recreation or sport program that is played at a minimum of once per week for the duration of 4 weeks.

To Qualify:

  • Families must show signs of financial need

  • A letter of endorsement either from community leader (teacher, coach, pastor, etc) to accompany the application. The letter can be just a couple of paragraphs that endorses that this family is in financial need and requires support under the jumpstart program to ensure the participation of their children in recreational opportunities.

  • Applicants must ensure that they are not applying for the Program in any other sport during the funding session or applications will be automatically denied.

To Apply:

  • Print off the application and bring with you to Registration Night.

  • Please include your letter of endorsement.  If you do not have your letter then your application cannot be processed.

  • Applications will be sent in by the Beaumont Skating Club with your letter of endorsement.

  • Beaumont Skating Club will be notified within 2 weeks of submission of application approval
  • Payment to the Beaumont Skating Club will be made within 4-6 weeks of application approval.  If payment is issued to the applicant, it is the responsibility of the applicant to submit the payment to the Beaumont Skating Club immediately.  Failure to forward the payment will result in the Skater not being allowed to skate until the payment is received.
